Couldn't switch to requested monitor resolution

I never had a problem with TTS and two days ago every time I open the game errortts.pngI have this bug every time I open the game and I have tried with the commands of steam and moving the setting in regedit and couldn't make it work if someone could help me

Specs:
Windows 10
9 Gigas Ram
4 Gigas Video Nvidia GTX 970
Intel core i7
SSD 500 Gigas
HDD 500 Gigas

Having the same problem. I played it yesterday, then updated my Windows 10. Now I get that message when I try to launch the game. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but to no avail.

Edit: Well, after six hours it suddenly loaded. I don't have any idea why, but I'm not complaining!

What OS are you running? Have you tried reinstalling directx which ever version you are running
