Game always crashes after loading screen

I had just purchased Tabletop Sim but I've tried everything suggested to get it to run but it keeps crashing at the loading screen. I've reinstalled, verified game data, reinstalled 2012 C++ redist, ran as admin, and have tried different launch options through steam. I'm running on a windows 7 alienware laptop. Below are the specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz
Memory (RAM): 16.0 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M

I can give whatever other details may be needed. Just not sure what to do when my machine runs AAA titles fine but then Tabletop Sim crashes instantly.
