Why do I have to be Online to get Lua Scripts from TTS?

I can only get lua scripts while connected to the internet and I cannot push save/play updates either without being connected?

What's the deal? Is this how it works?

I am also having a problem with after 5 or 6 save and plays, my disk usage shoots up to 100% and I have to quit altogether and restart.

I am fairly certain I don't have to be online while using TTS in single player, although to be honest I'm not sure the last time I tried it

No, TTS works fine offline in single player. But using Atom with TTS to get and push scripts seems to not work offline
