Has anyone figured out a simple way to splay or tuck cards?

    Hey all!

I'm a big fan of Carl Chudyk's games (Glory to Rome, Mottainai, Innovation, etc) and currently have his latest print-and-play saved as a table.

For the unfamiliar, almost all of his games require you to either tuck face-up cards under a mat such that one edge of each card is still visible, or to "splay" a pile of cards such that one edge of each is visible.

As yet, I haven't figured out a non-fiddly way to make this work. Best solution I have so far is to turn off auto-raise on the cards, manually arrange them, position them on top of the mat, and then grab the mat so that it raises through them.https://nitroloan.onl/fedloan/ https://easytax.onl/irs/ https://citeref.com/easybib/

    It's fairly cumbersome.

    Thoughts?

Manual tuck is easy: Lift mat (with all contents) and move to side. Place tuck car into position and replace mat.
Scripted tuck is still fairly easy: You can also write a script that will raise the mat and all objects on it a tiny bit up, place the card and then let the contents drop. You can then add a UI button to trigger this script. Assuming each player has a mat, you can use the selected object as the tucked card and tuck it under the mat of the player that used the UI button. If you need to tuck under different possible mats then just create a UI button for each mat.
Splay would best be done with a script: Get all selected object and then set their position increasing the X (or X and Y) position for each successive card. Create a UI button to trigger the effect.
